Ojeaku Nwabuzo
Ojeaku Nwabuzo is an independent policy specialist with the European Union, consultant, analyst and former co-director of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR).
At ENAR, Ojeaku was responsible for ENAR’s policy, advocacy and network development, and leading on strategy and management of partnerships to advance ENAR’s anti-racism and discrimination priorities.
Previously, Ojeaku coordinated ENAR’s research and reports on racism in Europe, with a focus on the criminal legal system and people of African descent. She has also worked at the Runnymede Trust, a race equality think tank in the United Kingdom, as a research and policy analyst. She also managed the Runnymede Academic Forum and Emerging Scholars Forum, which facilitated exchange and dialogue with academia.
Ojeaku has extensive experience of working in children and young people’s charities in Britain, including providing advice and support to the country’s Department for Education. She holds a BSc in politics from the University of Southampton and an M.A. in political communications from Goldsmiths, University of London.
Ojeaku is of Nigerian heritage, was born and raised in London, and has been living in Brussels for the past 10 years.
