Founder and Director, Zizi kaNojaholo Consulting


Khanyisa Nomoyi is founder & director of Zizi kaNojaholo Consulting – an advisory platform that aims to embed feminist economics as a key lever of social change across the global south. Academically, she holds an honours degree in Political & International Studies and is currently reading for a Master of Social Science degree at the University of Cape Town. Her research focuses on the gendered and racial nuances of climate action in South Africa.

In her professional experience, Khanyisa has been responsible for content development, research, analysis, strategy, project management and stakeholder engagement on socio-economic transformation. Her background has deepened her understanding of complex social systems and sharpened her ability to develop interventions that prioritise human rights and socio-economic equity. In her professional capacity, she primarily engages with business leaders and decision-makers across the private sector in a collective effort to realise equity. As a focal aspect of her career interests, she is determined to highlight the impacts of climate change on Black women in South Africa, as well as their participation in mitigation, policymaking, and adaptation strategies. 

Throughout her career, Khanyisa has been afforded opportunities to shape government policies on gender related issues, sustainability, public policy, ESG and the political economy.
