Executive Director, Rethink New Orleans

I am a learner/educator and organiser committed to the fullest development of Black working class people’s power and collective agency to transform the systems that create their conditions of hyper-exploitation. I currently serve as executive director of Rethink New Orleans, an organisation that trains working class Black youth to be revolutionary organisers in the pan-Africanist, socialist tradition.

My commitment to organising for transformation began well before I began a professional journey. It is rooted in the education I received from my family, a close-knit group of ordinary Black people, who have been made migratory by force and have, over time, cultivated the art and science of survivance.
