However, you are responsible for making sure that you are able to participate fully in programme activities.
Can i leave early if i have a scheduling conflict during the retreats and tours?
No. There is no substitute for your presence at AFRE sessions. Participation is mandatory for all required programme activities. In the case of absence due to illness, unavoidable travel or family crisis, AFRE must be informed prior to the start of the session.

AFRE will cover travel, lodging, meals and incidentals such as wifi access during program activities.

In addition, Fellows are expected to cover personal expenses, such as a passport, health insurance and other employee benefits.
Can I change my project if I decide to go in a different direction?
We expect that Fellows’ projects will evolve during the year, as they go through the experience and engage with peers, partners and other speakers.
